Marloes de Klein-Koster

I started working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in February 2013, initially as an oncology nurse at the outpatient clinic, and as of 2018, as a clinical nurse specialist (in training) in thoracic oncology.

The field of (thoracic) oncology sees a lot of rapid developments, which makes the work very interesting and brings new prospects for patients through the implementation of newly developed treatment options. Many of our patients are treated as part of a trial. As a clinical nurse specialist, I am involved in several of these drug trials. I also guide these patients by tracking them medically, and as a nurse.
