Joëlle Hagen

I graduated from the HAN University of Applied Sciences in Nijmegen as a dietitian in 2020. I have been working as a dietitian at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2021.

I primarily guide patients with tumors in the head and neck area, on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Tumors in the head and neck region can causes issues with eating As a dietitian I can offer advice to make eating a little bit easier and to make sure that you get all the nutrition you need, while keeping your personal preferences and habits in mind. My goal is to keep you in the best shape possible during your treatment, and to retain the best quality of life. I often collaborate with nurses, speech therapists, ENT specialists, and radiation oncologists. Together we try to optimize care surrounding our patients.
