Michelle Versleijen

I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2013. As a nuclear medicine specialist, I am involved in the diagnostics of nearly all tumor types and their potential metastases. Some tumors can be treated with radioactive substances. I focus primarily on gastrointestinal tumors and neuroendocrine tumors.

At the Netherlands Cancer Institute, the patient is central to the treatment. We collaborate with dedication between departments and conduct scientific research to learn more about the behaviors of various tumor types and their sensitivity to various treatments. This allows us to better adapt the treatment to the patient's personal situation. I appreciate being able to contribute to these developments as a specialist.
