Kim van Reijsen

I obtained my diploma in physical therapy in 2012 and have been happily working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2013. 

Before the surgery, I provide information about movement during the times surrounding the operation. After the procedure, I mostly attend patients at our internal, abdominal, lung, and head and neck departments.

I also work in general rehabilitation and head and neck rehabilitation. I guide patients before, during, and after their medical treatment (chemotherapy, radiation therapy). My key point is being able to perform everyday activities after physical interventions, together with a multidisciplinary team.
