Emma Hafkamp

I have been working as a health psychologist and EMDR therapist at the Survivorship Center (Center for quality of life) at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2018. Together with my colleagues, I am responsible for psychological patient care for people with cancer, and their loved ones - both during and after the diagnosis and treatment. I mainly focus on restoring the balance in someone's life and maximizing their quality of life, when necessary in collaboration with other disciplines. I also conduct scientific research at the Survivorship Center, focusing on new developments and quality of psychological patient care.
