Lisanne Fransen

I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2014. I worked in the surgery nursing department for a number of years as an oncology nurse. Here I have gained a lot of experience in the field of wound, ostomy and continence care. Since 2019 I have been working at the wound ostomy continence clinic. Here I was able to specialize in urology-continence and ostomy care (UCS nurse). I find it interesting and challenging to work in this field. I can use a lot of creativity in this and I like to look at possibilities together with the patient and I can support them.

The nice thing about working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute is that the hospital is quite small. As a result, you know many colleagues, which makes mutual consultation faster/easier.
