Hazel Ling
Ribbon
Ribbon was purchased in 2010 for a waiting room on the first floor. The artwork goes from a black image to colorful images. With Ribbon, photographer Hazel Ling wants to depict hope and the future. From a difficult period or a heavy thought, color and a lighter future can also arise.
Because of the colours, this work makes a visual connection with the colourful work 'Rainbow' by Maria Roosen that hangs from the ceiling in the central hall. The waiting room where Ribbon hangs has an open connection to the central hall.
