Monique Hagedorn

Various works 2007- 2015

Hagedorn made a series of works commissioned by the hospital. Her work often shows details of urban environments, buildings or nature, transforming reality into abstractions. Light, graphic patterns and reflection play an important role in her strong compositions. She often uses warm colors and makes the most of sharpness and blur to create depth in her work. In 2007 she had an exhibition in the hospital and donated an extra work as a thank you. The series now hangs in the corridors and consulting rooms of outpatient clinics 1 and 2.

Monique Hagedorn bought her first camera when she was 12. Since then, photography has not let her go. She followed various training courses but is mainly self-taught. Hagedorn's photos are sold at home and abroad. In 2015 she was invited for an exhibition in New York and since then she has also been selling in the USA.
