A floating moment

In 'A Floating Moment', movement in the form of a leap is central. For this work, the artist first made video recordings of people jumping. She then took photos of different fragments and put them together in a montage to create the current image. Nynke Deinema captured the moment of float in the jump of several people and placed them in a cloudy sky. The air amplifies the moment of floating, the detachment from the ground and the escape of gravity.
