Parking and garage
You will see signs with clear directions to the parking lot. At the barrier, you can get a ticket from the machine. Then park on the site or in the parking building. You can walk to the main entrance in three minutes. The payment machines are located in the parking building. Are you coming to pick up your car in the evening? Then open the pedestrian door with your parking ticket.
Cost
Patients and visitors pay a reduced rate after four hours of parking. You can have your parking ticket recoded at the reception. Then you pay at the parking meter. You then have 20 minutes to leave the site.
Are you disabled and do you have an official disability card (not a copy)? Then you can park for free at P1 and P2.
Parking rates (from 1 January 2025):
- First 15 minutes: free
- After that: €2.60 for the first hour
- After that: €0.65 per 15 minutes
- Maximum price per visit: €10.40 for patients and their visitors
- Other visitors or if you lose your card: €20.80

Parking for the disabled
Parking spaces for disabled people are available in the outdoor area of the car park (P1 and P2). These parking spaces can be reached directly from the road.
Kiss & Ride and short-term parking
There is a stop zone in front of the entrance to the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek. You can let someone in or out here. You can also park your car for a while to pick up or drop someone off. Please note: this may be done for a maximum of 5 minutes. Wheelchairs are also available at the entrance.
Public transport
The nearest tram stop is called Johan Huizingalaan. Tram 2 and bus 62 stop here. From this stop, you can walk to the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek in less than two minutes. You can plan your route on 9292.nl, for example.
Cyclists
Across the main entrance is a place for bicycles and mopeds. You can plan the fastest cycling route with, for example, Google Maps.
