Sabrine Hemmes

Since 2021, I have been working as an anesthesiologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. Before this, I worked at the AUMC, location AMC, where I also followed my training as an anesthesiologist.

I came to work at the NKI because it is a hospital where the care for and guidance of the patient is central. Furthermore, the mutual working atmosphere is very pleasant, which benefits the quality of our teamwork.

In addition, the NKI is a progressive centre, which is constantly looking for new insights and developments to improve care. This is also where my interest lies: thanks to medical scientific research, we can take the treatments for our patients to a higher level and further tailor them to the needs of the individual patient. As an anesthesiologist, I will accompany you together with my anesthesiologist during the day of your operation and we will continuously take care of you during the anesthesia.
