Suzanne Broens

Since 2019, I have been working as an anesthesiologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. This means that, together with my colleagues, I am involved on a daily basis in the care of patients who are operated on because they have cancer. This is an intense moment for patients. I like working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, because everyone who works for us is focused on ensuring that care is as safe and comfortable as possible for them.

In addition to my work in the OR, I am also involved in scientific research and training in the field of communication and cooperation under pressure.
