Huub van Rossum
Since March 2014 I have been working as a clinical chemist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI). In 2013 I completed the training as a clinical chemist and started working at the UMC Utrecht. Within the general clinical laboratory (AKL) I am co-responsible for the laboratory diagnostics that we perform on a daily basis for patient care.
An important task of the AKL is to support the many investigations that are carried out at the NKI. In addition, we are conducting research into (tumor) markers in blood with the aim of enabling better treatment of various types of cancer.
