Margreet Ausems

From January 2025, I will be working one day a week at the Clinical Genetics department of the Netherlands Cancer Institute. The other days I work at the UMC Utrecht. As Professor of Clinical Oncogenetics, I combine patient care and research. My research mainly focuses on improving access to genetic care in patients with cancer and their family members. With various projects I have lowered barriers to genetic research. I also want to set up these projects at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. The involvement of colleagues from the Clinical Genetics department and the collaboration with colleagues and researchers from the other departments make working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute special for me.
