Lot of Sour

At the AMC I followed my training as an ENT specialist. After training as a head and neck surgeon and oncologist at VU University Medical Center, I was given the opportunity to work at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI). Since March 2021, I have been appointed as Professor of Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery with the chair of oncological translational research.

It is my goal to treat the individual patient as well as possible. The treatment choices, the opportunities for the future, but also the quality of life are important topics for discussion.
Together with the NKI, we conduct fundamental oncological research here. In this way, we hope to develop new treatment methods that further improve the prognosis and quality of life of our patients.
