Annette Compter

Since 2016, I have been working as a neurologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, where I mainly focus on the treatment of tumors in the brain and spinal canal, and the neurological complications of cancer treatments.

I see it as a challenge to find the optimal treatment for every patient. For me, that means not only an adequate approach to the cancer, but also maintaining quality of life. To achieve this, I work closely with neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists and oncologists, among others. The joint pursuit of the best care and progressive scientific research makes it a pleasure for me to work at the Netherlands Cancer Institute.
