Wouter Vogel

As a nuclear medicine physician, my area of interest is imaging tumors with PET scans. In addition, I have specialized in the development and introduction of new techniques to make these scans even more accurate. This also allows the right treatment to be chosen more precisely, and adjusted where necessary.

As a radiation oncologist, I am working on the use of PET scans in radiation treatment. With these scans, I try to contribute to even more accurate radiation by making better information available about the location and spread of the tumor. I also want to help improve treatment by visualising the response of tumours during radiotherapy.
