Marjolein Delfos

Since June 2021, I have been working as a Cell Therapy Nurse Specialist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. In cell therapy, the patient's own immune cells are used as a cancer treatment. As a Cell Therapy Nurse Specialist, I see the patients in the clinic, where the cell therapy is applied and shortly before and after cell therapy at the outpatient clinic.

Within the cell therapy team, we have an intensive and pleasant collaboration between cell therapy doctors, research nurses, cell therapy quality officer and the team in the nursing department, with the aim of carrying out the treatment as successfully as possible. I experience the contact and care for patients as very special and motivating.
