I work as a nurse specialist in Gastroenterology. As far as I am concerned, one of the strengths of our team is the accessible consultation with each other.

As a nurse specialist, you have the opportunity to work from both the nursing and the medical domain. A nice mix! In addition to my outpatient work with people with chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy, I am part of the Hereditary Stomach Cancer team. Another area of expertise is geriatric oncology; This concerns people from the age of 70 with cancer. From this area of interest, I am involved as a board member with Gerionne (Geriatric Oncology Netherlands). At the Netherlands Cancer Institute, we strive for high-quality care. In addition to the quantity of life, the quality of life is also important to many people.

With a personal approach and sincere attention, I try to think along with people and connect to their needs.
