Paulien Smit

Since 2022, I have been working as a dietitian in the dietetics department at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. As a dietician, the focus is on improving or maintaining the nutritional status of the patient as much as possible. This brings interesting challenges for which I draw up an appropriate treatment plan together with the patient.

The dietetics department is located in the Center for Quality of Life. The attention and expertise for quality of life is also what makes the Netherlands Cancer Institute so distinctive.

I find the extensive experience, knowledge and commitment of all team members very special about the Netherlands Cancer Institute.
