Marjon Boot-Kleijn

Since February 2019 I have been working as a physiotherapist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. After graduating from the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in 2004, I worked for a year at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in 2005. I then gained work experience in primary physiotherapy and 6 years at the Academic Medical Center Amsterdam and now enjoy being back at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek. In 2011 I completed a Professional Master in Physiotherapy for people with chronic diseases. I treat patients in the surgical and medical departments pre- and post-operatively, both inpatiently and outpatiently.

The increasingly complex care around the oncology patient, the multidisciplinary work and the work towards cancer as a chronic disease, make working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute a unique place to work.
