Marlies Nowee

I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2009. I trained as a medical specialist here and I have been working as a radiation oncologist since 2016. My areas of interest are gynecological tumors (cervix, uterus, vulva and vagina cancer), and MRI-guided radiotherapy of the liver. At the MRI accelerator or MR-linac, we use MRI images every day during radiation treatment to be able to irradiate even more accurately.

As a radiation oncologist, I also conduct scientific research to further improve this technique and thus the treatment of liver tumors . A personal approach and the best care for every patient is what I like to commit to every day.
