Eva Poelman

After studying Medicine in Maastricht, I trained as a radiologist at Amsterdam UMC. I have been working at the NKI since 2021, first for my subspecialization as a breast radiologist and now as a radiologist with a focus on the abdomen and breasts.

For patients, I am regularly the first doctor they see in the hospital, in an exciting time for them. I think it is important to pay attention to this and do my best to reassure patients. I take the time to explain what my findings are, what I am going to do and why. Clarity can be very nice in an uncertain time.

At the AVL, we provide high-quality care for a patient population with complex syndromes. I get a lot of satisfaction from combining this with direct care for patients.
