Thierry Boellaard

Since May 2018, I have been working as a radiologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. Within my field of expertise, I focus on imaging research of cancer in the lungs and abdomen (including intestine and prostate).

Our institute stands for the highest quality of care and this starts with extremely careful diagnostics. As a radiologist, I want to map the extent of the disease as accurately as possible. Working together in specialized teams of dedicated doctors, we look for the best treatment for each patient.

The Netherlands Cancer Institute offers the opportunity to combine clinical work with scientific research. I would like to contribute from my specialism to optimally fight cancer with more understanding and insight.
