Arend Aalbers

Since 2009 I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a surgeon. After my advanced training as a gastrointestinal surgeon, I started to focus on colorectal surgery in the full breadth: primary and recurrent surgery, laparoscopic and open surgery, metastatic to the liver or with metastases to the peritoneum.

We are one of the few hospitals in the Netherlands that can treat all these forms of colorectal surgery here at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. State-of-the-art Multidisciplinary treatment with an emphasis on clinical excellence and progress through innovation and scientific research is what I strive for, every day and for every patient.
