Quirijn Tummers

Since 2023, I have been working as a surgeon at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. I have specialized in the treatment of lung cancer and tumors in the chest, as well as in the field of soft tissue tumors and sarcomas, and gastrointestinal surgery.

Working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute offers me the opportunity to offer patients the best possible care, using the most modern surgical techniques, combined with conducting scientific research. We do this together in a strong multidisciplinary treatment team with other specialties.

I see the combination of good clinical patient care, innovation and research as a huge challenge, in which I think that we as Antoni van Leeuwenhoek can make a difference every day.
