Ton Roeleveld

Since 2019, I have been working part-time as a urologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. My area of interest concerns the treatment of prostate cancer.

Urologists from a larger group of hospitals have sought collaboration to optimize the treatment of prostate cancer. This has led us to carry out the surgical treatment of prostate cancer at the Netherlands Cancer Institute for all those hospitals. I am part of the group of surgeons who perform prostate removal with the Da Vinci robot. Within this partnership, we continuously strive for quality improvement. We do this by continuously evaluating results and sharing knowledge within the prostate cancer network. My drive remains to be able to offer each individual patient the best possible treatment.
