Myrthe Angenent

After oncology training, I worked for several years on the 6th^floor: a surgical nursing department. I have been working at the wound, stoma and continence clinic for over three years now and have also completed the training to become a wound nurse. Here I take care of my patients as a professional, but also as a person. The short lines of communication to, for example, psychological support, primary practitioner or direct colleague mean that we stand together for that one goal: to support the patient as well as possible. Despite the heavy burden of cancer that the patient and we have to deal with, there is always room for lightness and humor in our consulting rooms.
