The gynecology apartment is involved in the diagnostics and treatment of malignant abnormalities in the female reproductive system. This involves tumors in the uterus, cervix, ovaries, vagina, and vulva.

Center for gynecological oncology Amsterdam (CGOA)

The Gynecologie department at the Netherlands Cancer Institute is part of the center for gynecological oncology Amsterdam, the CGOA. The oncological gynecologists of the CGOA provide gynecological care in three institutes: AMC, the Netherlands Cancer Institute, and VUmc. The CGOA is the largest center for gynecological oncology in the Netherlands.
