Marloes Bolman

I have been working as an anesthesiologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2014. During my training at the Leiden University Medical Center (2009-2013) I specialized in ultrasound-guided regional techniques and anesthesia in cardiothoracic procedures.

Besides my work at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, I received a 'Diploma in Mountain Medicine' from the University of Leicester. I am interested in the way the body adapts to the low oxygen levels in the mountains, that are comparable to the state of the body under general anesthesia. The low threshold in contact with various specialists and the commitment I see in all team members make the Netherlands Cancer Institute a great workplace.
