All interested parties can request consent through a certified hospital representative (and not through the producer). If contact concerning consent occurs between patient and producer, we always ask to see the patient’s written consent from patient to producer.

All cameras used for photography or film will be visible at all times.

We reserve the right to inspect images, recordings, or articles for any factual errors prior to their release, at our own request or that of the patient.

All images can only be used in the agreed-upon context. No recordings can be given to, or used by, third parties.

If the usage of previously recorded images is not ethically sound, we can decide to rescind permission for image usage in consultation with all parties involved.

The institute reserves the legal right to use all articles, pictures, and recordings for its own communication purposes.

All (legal) entities looking to make recordings of any kind at our hospital need to agree to our terms in writing. We have a consent form available, which can be requested through the Netherlands Cancer Institute's Public Relations Officers.
