Since 2026, I have been working as an anesthesiologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute.

As an anesthesiologist, I am involved in the care of patients before, during, and after surgery. For many patients, undergoing an operation is a significant and often stressful experience. That is why I always aim to help patients feel reassured and at ease before they go to sleep for their procedure.

During surgery, I work closely with the anesthesia team to ensure that patients remain stable throughout the operation and wake up comfortably with effective pain management.

I find great satisfaction in the culture of the Netherlands Cancer Institute, where everyone is genuinely committed to providing the highest quality care for patients. That dedication is what makes me look forward to going to work every day.
