Muriel Adank

Since May 2017, I have been an enthusiastic member of the genetic research team at the Netherlands Cancer Institute.

I can perfectly apply my knowledge and experience in the field of hereditary breast cancer within the multidisciplinary approach of the breast cancer treatment team. The working environment of the Netherlands Cancer Institute inspires short lines of communication in the collaboration between clinicians and researchers, with tailor-made care as the goal.

In research, I strive to be able to inform women better and better about the risks of breast cancer and to advise them on their control options. Due to the rapid development in genetic research and DNA testing, we can give more and more precise individual advice, tailored to your own (and family) situation.
