I have been associated with the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2006. As a clinical physicist, you are responsible for the technical aspects of the radiation treatments. Working at the NKI is fun and challenging because it is always about improving treatments and the latest technology.
I am involved in the technical quality control of all treatments. Software developed for this purpose at the NKI is now being marketed by a commercial partner. Recently I became a trainer of the new generation of clinical physicists, and part of the multi-disciplinary team lung tumors.
