Paulien Smit

I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a dietitian since 2022. My focus is on the improvement and/or preservation of patients' nutritional status. This brings along interesting challenges, for which I draw up a fitting treatment plan together with the patient. 

The dietetics department is located at the Centre for Quality of Life. The attention for and expertise of quality of life is what distinguishes the Netherlands Cancer Institute.

The extensive experience, knowedge and involvement of all team members makes the Netherlands Cancer Institute so special to me.
