I have been working as a gastroenterologist specialized in oncology at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2018. My specialty is targeted treatment through endoscopic procedures. I perform internal gall duct endoscopic procedures (ERCP) to remove obstructions in the gall ducts. Cancer can close off parts of the gastrointestinal tract. We use a small metal tube (stent) to open the passageway back up. I also specialize in endoscopic ultrasound procedures (EUS) and endoscopic removal of growths in the colon (eFTR).
