Since 2007 I have been working as a neurologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. I specialize in the treatment of tumors in the brain. With a team of specialists, including neurosurgeons, radiotherapists and oncologists, we look at the best treatment.

We then discuss with the patient how this treatment can be used to make the quality of life as optimal as possible. Research in neuro-oncology focuses mainly on drugs that reach the brain better, so that they can better inhibit the growth of a brain tumor.
