Leonie Woerdeman

I trained as a plastic surgeon at the AMC and started working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute shortly after. Here I am involved in reconstructive surgeries for patients who have received oncological or preventive surgery. These reconstructions are performed directly after surgery by a surgical oncologist, or after recovery from an oncological procedure. We try to find the best balance between a speedy recovery and the best quality of life afterwards.
