I trained as a plastic surgeon at the AMC. Some time later I started at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek. Here I am involved in reconstructive procedures on cancer patients or preventive procedures on patients who are already being treated by another specialist.

We perform these reconstructions immediately after surgery by the oncological surgeon or after recovery from oncological treatment. We look for the best possible balance between a quick recovery and a good quality of life afterwards.
