Marije Hoornweg

I received my training as a plastic surgeon at the AMC and started working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute soon after. I am involved in reconstructive procedures for cancer patients or patients who have had preventive surgery done by other specialists.

These reconstructions are performed directly after surgery by a surgical oncologist, or after recovery from an oncological procedure. We try to find the best balance between a speedy recovery and the best quality of life afterwards.
