I have been happily working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a (hospital) psychiatrist since October 2017. At the Netherlands Cancer Institute, the psychiatric care team specializes in diagnostic and treatment of psychiatric symptoms in patients with cancer. This could concern preexisting mental health problems that are exacerbated by cancer, or mental health problems that were caused by, or a response to, cancer.

The Netherlands Cancer Institute is a special hospital because it provides high-quality care even though the hospital has managed to remain small. The various disciplines closely collaborate in order to deliver the best care possible to our patients.
