Sanne Schagen

I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 1996. I work at the clinic and conduct research into cognitive impairments resulting from cancer and its treatment. Using neuropsychological research, imaging, and animal experiments, we analyze the presence and causes of cognitive impairments (like loss of memory or concentration) in various tumor types and treatments.

We also investigate ways in which we can diminish these cognitive impairments and how we can help our patients manage them in everyday life.
