Floris Pos

Since 2003, I have been working as a radiation oncologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. I specialise in urological cancers, with a particular focus on prostate cancer. My goal is to provide patients with the best possible treatment, maximising the chance of cure while minimising side effects.

In addition, I conduct research into innovative treatment approaches for prostate cancer. I am the principal investigator of the Hypo-FLAME 3.0 study, supported by KWF Dutch Cancer Society and Alpe d’HuZes. As the TSG Lead for Prostate within the international MR Linac Consortium, I am also involved in the development of MRI-guided radiotherapy, including through the DESTINATION-2 study.
