Margriet van Dijk - de Haan
Since 2019, I have been working as a radiologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. My primary areas of interest are the diagnosis of the lower abdomen (urogenital and gynecological tumors) and of skin and soft tissue tumors, especially using CT, MRI and PET-CT. Knowledge of the clinic is very important for the interpretation of imaging. That is why I consult a lot with colleagues from other disciplines, including during the multidisciplinary consultations. That way you often understand better what is going on.
For me, working at the NKI means striving for high-quality patient care according to the latest developments, where the person behind the patient is not forgotten and the personal situation of each patient is central to policymaking.
