Houke Klomp

I have been working as a surgeon at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2000. After my training and MD-PhD at the Erasmus MC, Alkmaar Medical Center, and VUMC, I continued to train in specialties at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. In recent years, my focus has been on thoracic and soft tissue tumor treatments. I also lead the Bestuur Medische Staf (management medical staff). 

It is important to me to be able to provide the best care to cancer patients, together with my colleagues in a specialized team. We aim to provide clear information and better chances of recovery in a comfortable environment. That is why we keep developing, researching, and improving!
