General Clinical Laboratory

In collaboration with team leaders and quality officers, the staff takes care of the management of the laboratories. Attention is paid to innovative applications and a responsible quality policy. The General Clinical Laboratory department is EN ISO 15189 accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council (registration number M278).

Contact

The blood collection is on the ground floor at outpatient clinic 3. We are open from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00. After 14:00 it is less busy.

If you want to know the results of your examination, you can contact the doctor who requested the examination for you.

Our team consists of about 45 people and together we ensure a fast and reliable result of your requested examinations.

Special areas of interest

We are constantly looking for new opportunities to reach a diagnosis faster and provide more and more insights in the field of cancer. We also participate in scientific research and the development and implementation of new tumor markers and analysis techniques.

Referrers

Referrers can request a circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) analysis at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. With a ctDNA analysis, pieces of the DNA from a tumor can be detected in the blood plasma. Click here for more information.
