Willemien van Driel

Since 2004 I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. I specialize in the treatment of patients with malignant female organ disease, such as ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, uterine cancer and labia cancer. The treatment of these cancers generally requires a multidisciplinary approach.

By working within a multidisciplinary team including radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, radiologists and gynaecologists, we can provide tailor-made treatment. In addition, we jointly develop new treatment protocols that are tested in clinical research. In this way, we try to stay at the forefront of developing new treatment options for these cancers.
