I started working at the gastrointestinal department at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in June 2012. The most important and best characteristics of the Netherlands Cancer Institute to me are the multidisciplinary approach and our care for the person. Together we look for new developments and possibilities for our patients. Besides my guidance and treatment of people with gastrointestinal cancer, I work with the Supportive Care Team, a team of physicians and specialized nurses who support people receiving palliative care.
