Marloes van Dongen

I started working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a medical oncologist and clinical pharmacologist in March, 2018. Our breast cancer team enjoys an extensive collaboration between surgeons, radiation therapists, radiologists, pathologists, and medical oncologists. We try to find the most suitable treatment for every single patient as a team, and try to further improve breast cancer treatment through research.

I am the principal researcher in a team looking into early phase medicines at the clinical research unit (CRU), which houses all facilities and dedicated people we need to successfully complete this type of research. I consider my patient care to be intensive, impressive, and incredibly motivating.
