Sandra Veldstra

Since 2022, I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a Nurse Specialist in training in the Gynaecology department. In August 2024 I graduated and became a Nurse Specialist. Before this, I worked as a district nurse at the ActiVite Foundation and as a (research) nurse at the LUMC.

As a nurse specialist, you work in both the nursing and medical domains. You are the permanent point of contact for the patients. It is my goal to support and treat the patients and their loved ones as well as possible before, during and after the treatment of the gynecological malignancy.
